The 2026 Team Gina 5K

Join us to race, run, or walk the 5K in support of The Gina McReynolds Foundation. This year’s event falls on Halloween, so we encourage participants to come in costume and join in the fun! Everyone who participates in costume will be entered into a drawing for a special prize, giving all costumed participants a chance to win.
In addition to our traditional race awards, this is a great way to celebrate the holiday
while supporting a meaningful cause.
For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, costumes should be family-friendly and suitable for a running/walking event. Please ensure costumes do not obstruct vision, create tripping hazards, or interfere with the safety of other participants. Props, masks, or accessories that could impede movement or present a safety concern are discouraged.
What began as a single benefit golf tournament for the McReynolds family in 2012 has grown into a full-fledged charitable organization, raising over $1 million to support local families battling breast cancer. The Gina McReynolds Foundation provides financial support to young families facing breast cancer. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, it is dedicated to assisting families through financial aid and counseling, all while honoring Gina McReynolds’ inspiring legacy as a loving wife, mother, and determined fighter committed to giving back.

All 5K finishers will receive a commemorative Team Gina 5K Medal and Race T-shirt
Race T-shirt not guaranteed if not registered by October 9, 2026.
Please note:
Given the race course and narrowing of the sidewalk during certain parts of the course,
we kindly ask that you leave pets at home. Service animals are welcome.
Bicycles, roller-skates/blades and skateboards are prohibited.
Strollers are permitted but will start the race behind all walkers.
Packet pickup:
Packet Pickup (including Race Bibs and TeamGina 5K T-shirts) will take place on
Friday, October 30, 2026 from 4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Jason Dwelley Park - Lakeside
(next to the Apopka Amphitheater) AND the morning of Saturday,
October 31, 2026 from 6:30 a.m. to 7:15 a.m., prior to the start of the race.

19 and under, 20 - 29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60 and over
